For the first time, Sudest57 brings the exhibition Icons in Spain at COAM, in Madrid.
With over 100 large format photos, this is one of the most extensive exhibitions of his work. The extraordinary retrospective features McCurry’s most iconic images such as the legendary portrait of Sharbat Gula, among the others he took during his forty-year career.
Thanks to the collaboration between Sold Out and Sudest57, the exhibition ICONS presented the stories of people of different ages, cultures and ethnicities, which McCurry was able to portray with surprising force and naturalness.
The exhibition will remain open until February 13th 2022.
