“Hidden Realities” is Lorenzo Vitturi’s most recent work, a project which is a hybrid between fashion, journalism, and photography, made for Suddeutsche Zeitung Magazin.
The project focuses on possible ways of portraying the hidden soul of the Venetian lagoon and tells a story of everyday life spots and encounters of a community that resists behind mass tourism and erosive gentrification.
Four stories take place off the ordinary circuits of the city centre, exploring the lagoon and discovering the logistics of water transportations, the skills of the fishers and the glass makers and the traditions of local families.
