It opens on May 13th Dario Mitidieri exhibition in Ancona. The photos of the project Lost Family Portraits make part of the first edition of Ancona Foto Festival: the series of portraits of syrian family, created in collaboration with CAFOD and M&C Saatchi, was awarded with the World Press Photo in 2016. Dario built up a set in the refugee camp of the Bekaa Valley, in Lebanon, to capture through the empty seats and hugs the tragedy of syrian refugees.
Lost Family Portraits by Dario Mitidieri to tell the Borders
The festival of photojournalism will be dedicated to Confini, borders, a theme presented and analysed in his different perspectives, also with the photos by Valerio Bispuri and Pietro Masturzo. The exhibition is organized by the assiciation Il Mascherone.
