India is a very appreciated destination for traverlers, but Joey L‘s photos make it irresistible. Kerala Tourism wanted our young canadian photographer for his latest campaign, Human by Nature.
The campaign after floods
A special campaign for Joey. In 2018 the region of Kerala was severely affected by major floods. About 500 people lost their life. Besides human loss, it should be considered also the damages to the local business, which relies a lot on tourism. The shots for Joey’s campaign had been postponed.
But India was his dream destination as a boy, who spare his little money for a journey in the charming subcontinent. Finally, at seventeen, Joey leaves for India as fledging photographer.
Since when Kerala Tourism chose him, Joey did not spare no efforts to create photographs which portrait the beauty of this land and help tourism after the natural catastrophe.
Kerala: Human by Nature
Human by Nature is the campaign for supporting tourism in the region of Kerala, where man lives in the most deep way, in harmony with nature and the different cultures around him.
Five different environments have been chosen, where to portrait this region and his differences: forest, temple, street, beach and backwaters, places where different cultures merge together. Tourists? Only in background, coexhisting with the local people.
