Emilio Pucci's fashion house decided to rely on the talent of Lorenzo Vitturi to interpret the FW21 collection. Through plastic poses of the American model and performer Anna Cleveland, in a set full of colors with organic and artificial materials, Lorenzo has created a series of elegant and abstract photographic sculptures called “Alchimie Luminose”.

Biography
Born in Venice in 1980, Lorenzo Vitturi, Italian photographer based in London, studied photography and design at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Rome.
After graduating, he has been on a two years residency at Fabrica, the Benetton Centre for research in communication (2005-2007). Formerly a cinema set painter, Vitturi has brought this experience into his photography practice, which revolves around site-specific interventions in accurately researched locations. He uses photography to set the scenes of thoughts and ideas through the manipulation of space, light and raw matter following his projects from creative ideation to realization.
In 2013 Vitturi released his first photobook Dalston Anatomy, a collection of photographs made around East London’s Ridley Road Market. Vitturi created makeshift sculptures in his studio from objects found in the market including fruit, vegetables, fabrics and miscellaneous tokens and trinket. Some of these elements were used as found, others left to mature or rot and some doused with a vibrant pigment. The intention behind this project stemmed from his compulsion to collect and distill the area’s distinctive nature before it was gentrified beyond recognition. Dalston Anatomy went on to be shortlisted for both the Aperture and Macks’s First Book Award and was named among the best books of the year by Martin Parr, Erik Kessels, The New York Times and more.
Vitturi was the recipient of the 2014 Photography Prize Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography. His work has been exhibited at Foam in Amsterdam, The Photographers’ Gallery in London, at the Yossi Milo Gallery in New York and at CNA in Luxembourg.
