Tante, diverse e inaspettate sono le famiglie e le situazioni fotografate da Elliott Erwitt presenti alla mostra Family a Villa Mussolini, Riccione.

La curatrice Biba Giacchetti ha chiesto a uno dei più importanti maestri della fotografia di creare un vero e proprio album fotografico che parlasse delle diverse tipologie di famiglie.

Un tema universale, che riguarda l’umanità, interpretato da Elliott Erwitt con il suo stile unico, potente e leggero, romantico o gentilmente ironico, cifra che ha reso questo autore uno dei più amati e seguiti di sempre.

La collezione di 58 fotografie selezionate alterna immagini ironiche a spaccati sociali, matrimoni nudisti, famiglie allargate o molto singolari, metafore e finali aperti.

La mostra rimarrà aperta fino al 3 Aprile 2022.

Numerous, different and unexpected. These are the families and the situations portrayed by Elliott Erwitt and included in the exhibition opened at Villa Mussolini in Riccione.

The curator Biba Giacchetti have asked one of the most important photographers to create an album which collect different kind of families. A universal theme that concerns humanity, interpreted by Erwitt with his unique, powerful and gently ironic style.

The 58 pictures selected for Palazzo Mussolini alternate ironic images with daily life scenes, nude weddings, large or very unique families, metaphors and “open” endings. 

The exhibition will be open until April 3rd 2022.
