Stefano Uvietta - biography

Passionately drawn to photography: to capture the essence of a story, a thought, a color…feelings.
In the beginning of the 90's, in Milan, he chooses photography as a profession.
Through his personal search he modifies the way commercial photographs are taken for advertisement and publishing.
His work focusses on evaluating the characteristics of the subject by studying the form, the frame, the light and the geometrics.
Simple or complicated shots, but always with a touch of poetry.
He has been a teacher at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan for several years now.
Working together with important companies and advertisement agencies on campaigns and photographs, which have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines in Italy and abroad. For the digital finalisation, he turns to Stefano Bottesi, with whom he has established a close collaboration.
